The ring is made of thin wire shaped like a hook. At the ends of the axle on which the setting is fixed is a small pearl and an oval gold sheet bored in three places. The setting proper is of an almond-shaped topaz surrounded by a filigree braid. On each side and on the lower side of the stone three small metal-wired tubes were welded. On the lower one, a tiny piece shaped like an apple-stone hangs; it is made of a gold sheet, in three facets, on which are welded filigree loops around a grain.
