The Iconostasis from Iacov Putneanul

A monumental work, in Baroque style, richly carved in elm and lime tree wood, with phitomorphic stylisations dominated, on the eight vertical pillars of the first register, by the motif of the vine and grapes, made in golden stucco, partially coloured in blue and red. The icons are placed on five superposed registers, separated by horizontal freizes with vegetal stylisations, carved in open work, with the same motifs of the vine and grapes, but also with other phitomorphic motifs, especially flowers and palmettes, all of them golden.
