The Daily Missal for November, written by monk Casian
1467 - the manuscript; 1568 - the binding
This Slavonic manuscript was written on thick paper, filigreed with the images of scissors and aurochs. It contains 240 pages, in folio, with 30 lines on each regular page, written in black ink, and half-inched small lettering.
The tall capitals which mark the name of the month, the first two lines beneath them, the names of the days, the ritualistic indications and the initials that mark the end of the stiharion are written in red.
