The scene of the Magi presenting their gifts is shown among rocks, on three registers: the upper one is dedicated to the heavenly hosts, of which three angels descend; the middle register presents Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus between the Magi with their gifts on the left and several sheep on the right, while the lower register shows Joseph and a shepherd on the left and the women who bathe the infant on the right. The halo above the heads of the main characters is made of metal chiselled with geometric motifs. Above the heavenly hosts there is a metal plate chiselled with stylised floral motifs, as halos.
