The book presents Vasilică Hasna, a young man who suffered, when he was 16, an accident that confined him to bed forever. But he neither complained, nor abandoned the fight. On the contrary, he knew how to transfigure suffering into a path that got him closer to God.

He joined the monastic community of Putna, receiving the name of Seraphim. After six months, he passed away into the Lord in a miraculous way, reserved only for a few: Savior Jesus Christ showed Himself to him before his demise.
