The volume includes historian Dumitru Nastase’s last study, which is unfinished. Written in the last years of his life, it is a scientific legacy and was meant to be the introductory study to a volume of Romanian documents from the archive of Mount Athos’ Simonopetras Monastery, coordinated by Petronel Zahariuc and Florin Marinescu.
