The monograph dedicated by Father Dimitrie Dan to the Putna monastery and commune remains valuable even more than a century after its first publication. This facsimile edition was printed in the Centennial Year of the Union of Greater Romania, which also marked 100 years from the return of Putna Monastery to its motherland.
