The Story of Bukovina by Filip Țopa was written in five volumes between 1982 and 1986 and was first published as a series in the “Glasul Bucovinei” (“The Voice of Bukovina”) magazine, starting with issue number 2 (74) of 2012 and up to the issue number 1–4 (107–110) of 2021–2022.

This work has now been published for the first time in one volume. The cover of the book reproduces the cover of the manuscript.

The present edition has compared the previously edited text with the manuscript. The text is prefaced with a Foreword written by Nidia-Adriana Țopa, the author’s daughter, and the introduction written by Prof. Ilie Luceac in “Glasul Bucovinei” magazine.
