Treasury of Putna Monastery. Embroideries and fabrics

Putna Monastery owns one of the most precious Byzantine type embroidery collections in South-Eastern Europe. ​​The present monograph introduces the reader to the wonderful masterpieces of this collection - some of ​which are classified as part of the Romanian national cultural heritage​ - and details their history and embroidery technique.
